Susan Oakes loses another world famous horse

Denver made the trip recently to Edinburgh to sadly collect “Atlas”on behalf of Susan Oakes. Not everyday we get a request to go over the water but we both knew how important it was for Susan to have Atlas cremated in Ireland. Atlas was her horse of a lifetime, she was very proud and honoured that he was part of her life, so his loss has been very hard for her. Atlas gained Susan the world side saddle jump record of 6ft 8. He competed at the higest level including the World Equestrian games in Aachen 2006 and he jumped internationally for 4 different countries in Nations cup Grand Prix. He was such an amazing horse. We are so glad that Susan now has Atlas home safely with her and that she has so many fantastic memories to cherish forever. RIP Atlas. you will never be forgotten.
