Well it was perfect conditions and beautiful scenery when we took to the roads for the Carlingford Half Marathon. We both achieved personal bests. Denver again pipped me to the post in a fantastic time of 1hour 35mins and myself following behind on 1hour 38mins. Being the 7th woman home I was delighted. We raised a total of £406 for our local animal sanctuary which we were over the moon about.
Again we would like to thank all the vets, nurses, family and friends who sponsored us both.
Watch this space for our next challenge.

On Sunday 14th September 2014 Denver and me took on the challenge of Belfast Half Marathon. We both finished in respectable times. Denver had a PB of 1hour 37mins and i finished in 1hour 44mins. We were absolutely delighted with such generous donations that came flooding in. We raised a total of £450.00. We are donating half to our local Animal Charity and the other half to The Manchester Dogs home after recent tragic events.

Budapest Half Marathon was our challenge for September 2012…It was a beautiful city, and a fantastic route through some of the most amazing landmarks and bridges. The scenery was breathtaking! We both completed the Marathon in 30 degree heat which was very hard, but we are both happy to say that it’s another marathon under the belt, and again another charity has benefited from our sponsorship. The charity being Hearing Dogs for the Deaf. We raised a total of £300 pounds which we are delighted with, so we would like to thank yet again everybody who supported us with sponsorship money and all our good luck messages!!
If you have a charity you would like us to support please contact us.

2011
All our hard work and training throughout the freezing cold and frosty winter months finally paid off, as Denver and me completed the Barcelona Marathon in a very respectable 3 hours 46 minutes.
Our run started at 8am on Sunday 6th March 2011, in 17 degree heat. The marathon route took us around all the sights and beautiful landmarks throughout Barcelona,; the crowds were amazing and cheered us on for the whole 26.2 mile course. It was a fantastic experience for us both, and felt like such an achievement. We were both on cloud nine after completing it.
After vowing “NEVER AGAIN” all our aches and pains have now disappeared and we are now ready for our next marathon challenge (of course all in aid of another animal charity!).
So we would like to thank all our sponsors and people that helped us raise money for the Cats Protection League in Dundonald. We raised £125 pounds in total, which we presented to the Cats Protection last week.
We are not long home from Nice (French Riveria) after competing in the Nice Half Marathon. The run was fantastic, with some breathtaking views of the Promenade des Anglais. We both successfully completed it (Denver in 1 hour 39 minutes and myself in 1 hour 45 minutes). I am blaming the heat for Denver beating me to the finish line!! So we are both very happy to have another very successful fundraising event for Glenvine completed, and we now have our thinking caps on for our next venture! Guide Dogs for the Blind Association was Glenvine’s chosen charity for this event. So again we would like to thank everybody for all their very kind and generous sponsorship
